Vladimir Mikhailovitch Chernikov
(Born in 1918, Lisychansk)
Honored Artist of the USSR since 1975. He was born in Lisychansk, Voroshilovgrad reg., Ukraine. He studied at Kiev Art Institute until 1951. Active in Kiev, Ukraine.
He specialized in thematic pictures. He participated in the All-Union art exhibitions
since 1951. In 1963 and 1967 solo exhibitions were held in Kiev. He was also a graphic artist. The works of the artist are kept in the museums of Kiev, Voroshilovgrad and Donetsk.
